Before starting at UWT I was looking for a way to get back in shape after having my second child. I had lost some baby weight but really needed to tone up and get my fitness back.
I was wary of a bootcamp type of set up as I had visions of it being very male dominated and intimidating – I couldn’t have been more wrong!! There;s a total mix of people that go to UWT, all with different levels of fitness and all really friendly. The trainers are welcoming and down to earth, and help you push and challenge yourself.
Each session is different in terms of the exercises you, which helps keep it interesting. In the past I’ve got bored by doing the same runs or the same workouts in the gym but haven’t felt this way at UWT. I love going to each session and come away feeling that I’ve worked hard and challenged myself. In the last 8 months I have lost 14 inches overall – I’ve never seen these type of results from other ways of working. I’ve always been obsessed with weighing myself and have followed so many crazy diets but this has helped me learn it isn’t all about what the scales show me! If you want a new challenge then give this a go – you won’t regret it!
