For the past 2 years, I have been a member of several gyms but find that they often are too busy and the trainers are only there to supervise and not inspire or offer guidance.

As someone who has struggled to motivate myself passed the first 4 weeks or so I decided that going to the Gym wasn’t working for me. One of my friends who has been going to UWT for a year now and has lost 3 stone had been asking me to come along for months and as someone who has always been quite introverted, I always found an excuse not to come along. I decided to bite the bullet and attended my first session. It was hard work and to be honest I wasn’t sure I would go back. The next day I ached all over but it was a feeling of accomplishment. A week later I decided to go again, this time it was outdoors. I struggled but I enjoyed it a lot more. I then started to attend twice a week. 7 weeks later I am going 4 or 5 times a week and at 8 weeks I have lost a stone in weight. I think I might be addicted.

Not only has my body changed size and shape but my confidence has grown and I’ve met some really awesome people. Because of the brilliant trainers, wide range of equipment, and the all out fun and sense of accomplishment, UWT has changed my life for the better. Joining UWT was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and I look forward to enjoying more sessions and making more progress. Thanks so much UWT team.
